Turkish Onuk Sazan is like Ferrari Dino, only without pedigree
What makes an Onuk Kazan? Well, in base trim you’re apparently talking about a 2,000-pound rear-wheel drive sportster that’s powered by a turbocharged Nissan V V6 that’s good for about 450 horsepower. Sounds great to us.
However, what if for a little weight penalty you could step up to General Motors’ LS7? That would net you about 512 hp, 480 lb-ft of twist and just 2,200 pounds of vehicle to move around. Now we’re talking. Okay, but how much? This is the bad news: €200,000, or about $300,000. That seems radically high to us, but we’re not up on our Turkish financial analysis.
Need a reason to support Turkey’s bid to become part of the European Union? Look no further than the Onuk Sazan, a brand-new sports car that depending on the engine might just slide its way into supercar territory. The Sazan was designed and built by a certain Dr. Onuk, who lost his son Kaan in a car accident. Sazan is a nickname for Kaan. Hence, the Onuk Sazan. Similar to Enzo and Dino Ferrari –only, well… you know.

The Ferrari 458 Italia has scooped two prestigious awards from BBC Top Gear Magazine, one of the world’s most influential automotive magazines. Not only did the British magazine nominate the 458 Italia “Supercar of the Year”, but also, for the very first time for Ferrari, the coveted title of “Car of the Year”. In electing the Ferrari 458 Italiaas their “Supercar of the Year”, BBC Top Gear Magazine underlined how it has established “the new benchmark in getting from A to B as rapidly as possible.” They also described the 570-hp V8-engined berlinetta as “a game-changing car.”

Ferrari 458 supercar Prices Announced
Ferrari has finally priced its new 458 Italia. The striking new supercar will set you back £169,545.
While expensive, the 458 Italia slots between the California (which is priced at £143,325) and the 599 Fiorano (which goes for £207,075). Of course, if you decide to equip the car with options, you can easily price it into 612 Scaglietti (£217,230) territory. Tempting items include steering wheel-mounted LEDs (£2794), an alcantara trunk lining (£1445), electric seats (£2120), and a spare wheel (£1156).
